{"id":159,"date":"2006-10-30T03:43:00","date_gmt":"2006-10-30T03:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mooredynasty.net\/index.php\/2008\/12\/sun-maid-spice-raisin-oatmeal-cookie-bars\/"},"modified":"2010-11-24T23:02:53","modified_gmt":"2010-11-24T23:02:53","slug":"sun-maid-spice-raisin-oatmeal-cookie-bars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mooredynasty.net\/index.php\/2006\/10\/sun-maid-spice-raisin-oatmeal-cookie-bars\/","title":{"rendered":"Pumpkin Crunch Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A good neighbor once gave me this recipe, which she got from a restaurant in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oldtownspringtx.com\/\">Old Town Spring<\/a>, and it has been a great addition to our Thanksgiving menu.<\/p>\n<p><b>     <br \/>Pumpkin Crunch Cake<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 1:<\/b>    <br \/>1 15 oz. can Pumpkin<\/p>\n<p>1 can evaporated milk<\/p>\n<p>1 \u00c2\u00bd c. sugar<\/p>\n<p>2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice<\/p>\n<p>1tsp. salt<\/p>\n<p>4 eggs<\/p>\n<p>Beat together until well mixed and pour into a 9X13 greased pan.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 2:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 box Yellow Cake mix   <br \/>*you don&#8217;t have to make the cake batter, you just need the dry mix as is.<\/p>\n<p>(I use the butter recipe, don&#8217;t use pudding cake mixes.)<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over Pumpkin mixture.<\/p>\n<p>1c. chopped pecans   <br \/>*fora nicer presentation use pecan halves. More than one cup will be needed.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle chopped pecans over cake mix.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 3:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 sticks of butter<\/p>\n<p>Thinly slice butter and layer over pecans.<\/p>\n<p>Bake @ 350 degrees for 50 min.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A good neighbor once gave me this recipe, which she got from a restaurant in Old Town Spring, and it has been a great addition to our Thanksgiving menu.
