Since he&#8217;s a 6th grader now and will be going into junior high next year, this was the last game I expect to coach. We did have a pretty good season, going 5-2-1 thanks in large part to a trio of pretty good players and definitely not the coaching. Sadly, none of the Mercury&#8217;s superstars were here today and our opponents really wiped the floor with us. One good part of the game was that Dave scored 6 points and probably played his best game of the year. If he&#8217;d practice he could play the game well. But I never wanted to really work hard either when I was that age.
