by So, Mitchell asks me this morning if I’ll take him to a skateboard park; to which I cleverly reply, "If you can find one in the area I will take you." Never say that to a boy on a mission.
He looked on line and found a city park (free!) that featured a skateboard park. So we were off. As we drove up to the park I could hear the boy salivating. He was itching to open the truck door even before I finished parking. He said it was the best place ever. David and Mitch went off to have fun, while Jacob and I sat on the sidelines. I asked Jacob whether or not he wanted to go out and try it, I said I’m sure David would let you borrow his skateboard, but I don’t think he cares for the sport.
